Ward boy's son scoops up 96%

MUMBAI: Sushant More (15), a ward boy's son, made his family proud by scoring 96%. "I was confident of doing well and expected the results I got," said an excited More. "I worked hard." He lives with his parents and two brothers, both engineers.
His father, who works at Ma­sina Hospital, earns Rs 7,000 a month. More, though, did not let finances get in the way of his goals.He relied on his brothers for academic guidance and parents for emotional support. He could not afford to attend any coaching class.
More also sought help from his neighbour. "I would buy and borrow second-hand books from him as they were expensive," he said. It id through his determination that he has worked his way th­rough exams. He wants to be a mechanical engineer from IIT.
